The profit target
Reach 9–12% profit, depending on the challenge type, without touching a loss line, and the evaluation ends as a pass. No deadline and no minimum number of trading days.
How it is measured
- On equity. Open positions count, valued at the price you could close them at, after the fee the close would pay. You pass the moment equity reaches the target; the open positions are closed for you.
- A breach beats a pass. If one price move would both reach the target and touch a loss line, it is a breach.
- Once. The target applies to the evaluation only. The funded account that follows has no target.
On the $50,000 Steady 50K account the target is 10%: equity of $55,000.
Profit needed, at every size
| Type | $5,000 | $10,000 | $25,000 | $50,000 | $100,000 | $200,000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steady (+10%) | $500 | $1,000 | $2,500 | $5,000 | $10,000 | $20,000 |
| Sprint (+9%) | $450 | $900 | $2,250 | $4,500 | $9,000 | $18,000 |
| Summit (+12%) | $600 | $1,200 | $3,000 | $6,000 | $12,000 | $24,000 |
The target against the room
The target only means something next to the losses you are allowed on the way. Every type has the same daily limit and differs in how far you must go and how far you may fall:
| Type | To make | Most you may lose in a day | Most you may lose in total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Steady | $5,000 | $1,500 | $3,000 |
| Sprint | $4,500 | $1,500 | $1,500 |
| Summit | $6,000 | $1,500 | $2,500 |
The target is always above both the daily limit and the maximum drawdown. That is deliberate: it stops two accounts traded in opposite directions from passing one on the move that breaches the other.
Questions about the profit target
Is there a time limit to reach it?
No. Take as long as you need; there is also no minimum number of trading days (no time limit).
Can one big day pass the challenge?
Yes. There is no consistency rule and no cap on any single day’s share of the profit.
What happens after I pass?
The account converts to a funded account with the same loss rules and no target, eligible for payouts of 80% of simulated profit.
