Yodoya, the simulated crypto challenge with three rules. That’s it.

Practise on live crypto prices in a simulated account, evaluated against three published rules: reach +10% without losing 4% in a day or 5% overall. Pass and you become eligible for payouts: performance rewards measured at 80% of your simulated profit, paid in USDC.

20 crypto pairs · no time limit · no minimum trading days · no real capital ever moved

Yodoya is a simulated trading platform and evaluation service. Every account is simulated, funded ones included: no real capital is deployed and we hold no money of yours. Payouts are performance rewards from our own revenue, not investment returns, and the fee pays for access and evaluation; it is not a bet.

One candle, built live from real ticks: the market’s own shape, not a decoration.

The three rules, in full

Three lines, checked on every tick, the same three for every account, written into the engine rather than decided case by case. Nothing else is being scored while you trade.

Profit target, +10% Daily limit, −4% from each day’s opening balance Overall floor, −5%, never moves

+10% Profit target

Reach 10% above your starting balance and the challenge ends as a pass. You move straight to a funded account, and that account has no profit target on it, ever again.

−4% Daily loss limit

Lose 4% of your balance inside one UTC day and the challenge ends, whatever your overall total says. It resets at 00:00 UTC to wherever your balance actually is: tighter after a losing day, looser after a winning one.

−5% Overall floor

Drop 5% below your starting balance at any point, even for a single tick, and the challenge ends. This line is fixed for the life of the evaluation and never moves against you.

The prop firm rules we don’t have

Most of what fails a trader at a prop firm isn’t the loss limit. It’s the clause underneath it. Here is what we deliberately don’t run.

  • No time limit

Take a day or take a year. Nothing expires, and there’s no monthly fee running while you think.

  • No minimum trading days

You’re never forced to place a trade you don’t want in order to stay eligible.

  • No consistency rule

One good day can be most of your profit. We won’t void a pass because your gains weren’t evenly spread across the week.

  • No leverage, and no margin calls

On a challenge or funded account, margin always equals notional. Your collateral is the size of your position, never money advanced against you that can be pulled back.

  • No hidden spread

A published spread per market, the same for every trader, is the only cost on a fill. No commission, no financing, and nothing charged for holding overnight.

  • No ID. Instant withdrawals.

No ID to sign up, trade or withdraw. Payouts up to $250 are sent in USDC automatically the moment you ask; larger ones get a quick look from a person first.

How the challenge works

Four steps, and you can see the whole path before you pay for any of it.

  1. Pick a size

$1,000 to $10,000. One fee, no subscription, nothing recurring.

  2. Trade to +10%

Live crypto prices across 20 pairs. Every fill stores the quote snapshot it used.

  3. Get funded

A funded account opens with no profit target on it. No paperwork at this step.

  4. Withdraw

Performance rewards at 80% of simulated profit, in USDC. Most people do not pass. Withdrawing never moves your max-loss line.

Your floor never moves

One max-loss line, 5% below where your account started, fixed for as long as you hold the account. Withdraw once or withdraw ten times; the line is in the same place afterwards as it was before.

No trailing drawdown that follows you up and strangles the account it was supposed to protect. The only thing that ever moves it is scaling: capital grows for free on a clean record, 1.25× once 8%, 1.50× once 16%, 2× once 28% of the account has been withdrawn as profit. That resets the floor to 5% below the bigger capital.

floor $9,500 $780 to go target $11,000

Pick your account size

One fee, charged once. Every tier plays by exactly the same three rules. A bigger account is a bigger account, not a different game.

Race another trader on live prices

Two players, the same live crypto prices, the same $10,000 of simulated capital each, one clock. Go long or short on any pair, as often as you like. When the clock hits zero, the higher equity wins. Every duel is free for now.

  1. Pick a clock

Take the first open duel on your terms, post your own, or challenge someone by username.

  2. Trade the same prices

Live prices at the mid, with no spread. Long or short on any pair, with leverage up to 50× if you want it. The ticket opens at 1×.

  3. Beat the buzzer

Higher equity when the clock runs out wins. Let your equity fall to the maintenance margin and you are liquidated, and lose.

Or outplay them on a finished chart

Chart Draft is a turn-based strategy game. Two players, one price chart that has already finished, every candle visible from the first second. You take turns claiming trades on it, and a candle can belong to only one trade, so every claim is also one your opponent can no longer have. Nothing is hidden, nothing is random, and there is no next candle to be lucky about.

  1. Read the chart

You both see all 160 candles before either of you moves, and you get 30 seconds with the clocks stopped to work out what is on it.

  2. Claim your trades

4 claims each, long or short, 8 to 40 candles. Take the biggest move, or take the one that ruins theirs.

  3. Swap seats and play it again

The board clears and the same chart is played a second time with the other player picking first, so neither seat is the lucky one.

  4. The higher total wins

Both legs added up. Every number can be checked against the published chart.

Everything here is verifiable

Most firms in this category ask you to take their word for it. Every claim on this page resolves to a page you can open or a transaction on a public chain.

No payouts yet. Yodoya is new. When the first funded account withdraws, it is published with its transaction hash, and you can open it in a block explorer without trusting us. Until then we would rather say so than fill this space with a testimonial. Here is what you can check today:

We earn from the spread on fills, from challenges that don’t pass, as the questions below say plainly. The difference from other firms is that here you can verify the outcome yourself rather than take our word for it.

Why we’re called Yodoya

In the 1600s the Yodoya merchant house ran a rice market beside its own bridge in Osaka, the Yodoyabashi. The price set there became the reference for rice across Japan. The market later moved to Dojima and became the Dojima Rice Exchange, widely described as the world’s first organised futures exchange, and the candlestick chart grew up among the rice traders who followed its prices.

Every chart on this site is still drawn in those candles, which is why the hero above prints one live. Our mark is a masu, the wooden box rice was measured in.

Before you start

Yodoya is a simulated trading platform and evaluation service. Every account is simulated, funded ones included: no real capital is deployed and we hold no money of yours. Payouts are performance rewards from our own revenue, not investment returns, and the fee pays for access and evaluation; it is not a bet. Most people do not pass, so treat the fee as money you are prepared to lose.

Is real money being traded?

No. Every account is simulated at all times, including funded accounts. No real capital is ever deployed on your behalf, and you hold no interest in any position or asset. Prices are live, the money is not.

How long do I have to hit the target?

No time limit, no minimum number of trading days, no consistency rule. Trade as fast or as slow as you want.

How much does a challenge cost?

From $24 for the smallest account, charged once. There is no subscription, no monthly platform fee, and no reset fee. If you breach, you buy another challenge at the same published price.

Do I need ID to withdraw?

No. We don’t ask for ID to sign up, buy, trade or withdraw, though the terms list the cases where we may (section 7). Payouts up to $250 are sent automatically the moment you request them.

What happens if I breach?

The account closes. To try again you buy another challenge at full price; a breached challenge is not refunded, in whole or in part.

What is a payout, and what do I keep?

A performance reward of 80% of the simulated profit you withdraw, paid in USDC. Money already paid to you is permanently yours. A later breach ends the account but never claws back a past payout. Withdrawing doesn’t move your max-loss line either: it stays 5% below where the account started, whether you take profit out or not.

How much can I withdraw, and how often?

At most 8% of your account size in any rolling 30 days. You need at least 3% profit before you can request one, it has to come to $20 or more, and every position has to be closed when you ask. Requests still waiting on approval count against the 8% too, so a second one inside the same window may be smaller than the profit you are sitting on.

How large a position can I open, and is there leverage?

There is no leverage on a challenge or funded account. Margin always equals notional, so your open positions can never total more than the account’s current equity. That is the real limit on size, and unrealised losses shrink it immediately. The −4% daily limit and the −5% overall floor sit underneath it and are what actually end an account.

What does the fee actually pay for?

Entry to one simulated challenge, not capital. No real money is deployed on your behalf, so the fee covers running the engine rather than funding an account. We earn from the spread on fills and from challenges that don’t pass, which means our financial interest runs opposite to yours. That’s why the three rules are fixed in one file and published, rather than adjusted account by account. How the simulation works →

Do you trade against users or manipulate fills?

No. Every account is simulated, so there is no position to trade against. Spreads, latency and fill logic are fixed per symbol, the same for every trader, and never changed by account or by how close it is to a loss line. Breaches are calculated mechanically from the published rules and the live price. Fairness & Simulation →

What is a trading duel?

A 1v1 race on live crypto prices. You and one other player each get $10,000 of simulated capital, trade the same markets on the same clock, and the higher equity when the clock runs out wins. Clocks run from 15 to 60 minutes. Every duel is free for now: no entry and no prize. Prices keep moving during a match, so a better trader can still lose on a given day.

What is Chart Draft, and how is it different from a duel?

Chart Draft is a 1v1 match on one finished price chart. Play free against another player or a bot. Both of you see every candle before either moves. You take turns claiming trades on the chart (4 each per leg, long or short), and a candle can belong to only one trade, so every claim is also one they can no longer have. The same chart is then played again with the other player picking first, and the higher total across both legs wins. Unlike a duel, nothing depends on where prices go next: nothing is hidden or random. Every match is free for now, with no entry and no prize, and winning a match never funds an account.

What do you charge on trades?

A small spread on each fill, and nothing else. No commission, no financing, no overnight charge.

Can I lose more than the challenge fee?

No. On a challenge, the fee is the only money you put in. Accounts are simulated, so there is no margin call, no negative balance, and nothing to top up. The worst case is that the challenge ends.

Is Yodoya connected to the Yodoya in Osaka?

Only by name. Yodoya is a crypto trading platform named after the Edo-period Osaka merchant house whose rice market became the Dojima Rice Exchange, where candlestick charting grew up. We have no connection to the historic sites or to any business of the same name.

Three rules. No time limit.

Read the contract first if you want. Every number in it is the number the engine enforces.
